It's been almost a month since my last post. What can I say, I have been quite the busy bee lately. It's the start of a new semester at school; the yearbook deadline is quickly approaching at a dizzying pace, and I am totally stressed about teaching U.S. History for the first time in five years with the dreading End of Course test at the end.
Needless to say, I am taking quick moment out of that hectic-ness to have a moment for myself to write a brief little note.
Since I last posted, I celebrated my 33rd birthday. That is unreal to me. It is surreal how time marches on and you don't even realize it. Remember when you were 16 and time seemed like a renewable resource? I live amongst that every day.

This weekend, I am off to Rock Hill/Fort Mill to catch up with some of my favorite sorority sisters. We are going all retro and returning to rush as we call it, or recruitment as the politically correct call it.
I cannot wait. I love spending time with my college peeps. You create such a special bond with those people. It is completely different that childhood friends or adult friends. For four years those people were your family. You lived together, worked together, played together, fought together, learned together, and inevitably grew together.
It is amazing to me how we can meet up after not seeing each other, sometimes for years and it's like not a single day has passed away.
Hopefully I'll have some fun pictures to share with you after the weekend.
Until then I will leave you with, "To belong is an honor, to choose a privilege."

I like the new background. It's cute and girly.
Love ya!
Which background is it? It isn't showing up on my computer and it hasn't been. I originally had one with a cute Valentine owl on it, but it wasn't coming up, so I tried to change it cause I thought that link was broken. I am going to reput that one on here, and tell me if it is working for the world to see. Good luck this weekend. Is your mom still coming? I know she's been really sick.
