I'll Be Loving You Forever

The concert began and WOW was it loud. Most of the "footage" I took at the actual concert was video but I'm not dealing with putting that on here right now (I have to leave you wanting something lol)

The thing about the concert is that there are a million things to say about, but I don't think any words could really do it justice if you weren't there.

Here are a few pictures from the evening.

The first song was from their new album. It's called Single. It is a great R&B song, and I highly suggest it if that kind of music is your kind of thing.

Whether you want to believe it or not, the "five bad brothers from the Beantown land" are better today than they were twenty years ago at the concert I saw in 1989: Better looking, better entertainers, better everything. I know without a shadow of a doubt you can ask any of the nine of us who went and each of us will tell you the same thing. SWOON! They were amazing.

Sadly, when the New Kids made it to the rotating stage in the center of the arena, Erin and I were trapped in the "good" seats at the front of the arena. The powers that be wouldn't let us back to the seats with the rest of our posse.

This was our attempt at getting a picture of us with the New Kids in the background. If you look really hard in the upper left hand corner you can sorta see Danny in the corner. Hey, it made us happy, so I'm not going to complain.

The center stage was AMAZING. Absolutely AMAZING. Here are a few pictures. I had a technical difficulty in that when the flash was on, the pictures were really dark. When the flash was off, the pictures were really blurry. I love them anyway.

Little did Erin and I know that while we were having a great time jamming while the center stage was turning, everyone else was having a dream like moment.

Our BFF the Event Staff Guy made sure the rest of the girls made it to the front of the revolving stage. At one point I saw Joe almost fall off the stage. Later I learned it was because Amanda almost pulled him off.

Denise and Megan got to touch all five New Kids, and Denise sexually harrassed Donnie. He didn't mind. He even winked back. I can't be sad that I didn't get that opportunity because, well frankly, if I couldn't experience it that up close and personal, I'm glad my girls did.

They were so worked up that when I finally made it back to the back seats, I thought Amanda had passed out. It truly was an amazing evening.

The only sad thing about it was when it was over. Hangin' Tough never sounded so good and so sad all at once.

But no doubt about. I will definately be loving the New Kids forever.
