There are lots of things in the world I find confusing.
The mysteries of geometry and calculus have always been beyond my comprehension.
The fact that there are people who don't truly understand how the glorious joyful comfort of pop music, the engulfing majesty of the perfect classical movement, the intoxicating rhythm and melodrama of a broadway score can all move you equally deep down in your soul baffles me.
Apparently there are people in the world who don't like glitter or tutus or tiaras?
Some people's hair doesn't stand up at the grandeur and pageantry of college football in the South.
There are people who don't see the beauty in uniqueness and people different from them.
I don't understand how people are filled with ugly and hatred. How do people sit around and walk through their days preoccupied with dark and pain and gloom?
I can't figure out, for the life of me, how a break dancer does five pirouettes on his head or a gymnast can do a round off back handspring flip flop on a balance beam.
I don't even know how fax machines or the "internets" really work.
Why did anyone think an 8 track tape was a good idea?
Why do people hurt others, especially little innocent children?
How in the world are some people so quiet and calm all the time?
Seriously, the list of things that confuse me could reach from here to infinity.
But once you climbed to the top and reached infinity you know what thing would be at the top?
What great mystery leaves me bum-fuddled and shaking my head?
I am stating here and now for the world to know that I will never even begin to understand or attempt to understand the workings and reasonings of a man's brain.
Honestly, there are some things that I know in there complete and utter simplicity are just too convoluted for anyone to even try to untangle.
But I can absolutely tell you this without a shadow of a doubt, it is absotively posalutely infuriating and one of life's greatest unsolved and unsolvable mysteries.
Just bless their little man hearts.
