Here's the story on today's outfit.
I hate picking out an outfit for parent/teacher conferences. These days usually are low key, so you want to be comfortable, but then you know you are going to see and meet parents. Therefore, you want to look your best.
In the spring, isn't a problem. You throw on a cute dress and be done with it, but the rainy, cold days of late winter pose more of a challenge.
However, I think I came up with a pretty good ensemble for the day.
This Cynthia Rowley cardigan was a birthday present from my fabulous friend, Gillian Rose Miller, and I rocked one of my favorite color combos (magenta and teal) This tank came from Old Navy for $4. I paired this with same fantastic pants.
I used to have every color of these pants, but now they all fit like clown pants (amen) except these that had gotten completely too small before I lost weight. I have had these pants for years. They are from Lane Bryant and were the most expensive part of this outfit. I can't remember exactly how much they were, but knowing the prices of the store, I would say there were around $50.
The shoes were from Good Will. I adore Good Will shoes. They were $4
The jewelry is so fun. The necklace was a Christmas present from my niece. She got it at a great little store in Lake Worth, Florida, where she lived for years. The ring came from It's Fashion. It was probably like $4.
So I rocked parent teacher conferences today for a grand total of $62.
