Tonight I came to Charlotte and went to the National Whitewater Rafting Center to listen to music and have dinner. I didn't have any idea such a place existed in Charolotte, and while I am not much of an outdoorsman, it was a pretty cool place. You should check out the link. I might even considered whitewater rafting in the man made river. It was kinda calling my name, but maybe that was because the water looked so refreshing and it was only about two degrees cooler than Hades.
We had dinner at the onsite restuarant, and it was great. We had the sweet potato waffle fries as an appitizer, and I had basically the meat sampler platter for my main course. It made me happy because I am a true country Southern girl and could never give up my meat. My meal came with a slice of watermelon and some creamy and delicious macaroni. If you are ever in the Charlotte area, I suggest you check it out.
